This painting is of an elk named Samson,
who almost killed me on the north end of Yellowstone Park while
enjoying my honeymoon. Moments after the photo this painting
was taken from was snapped, he charged me. I had to use my karate
skills on that one. Right! The truth is, he decided I wasn't
important enough to kill and walked away.
